    1. The cause of addiction. The article rings fairly true for me.
    It sort of jells with my long held theory that is that boredom is what causes both drug use and addiction. People hate being board, I found when teaching children you can use this fact to make them behave, and some people are more easily board and so use drugs and get addicted. This would explain why bad students are more likely to be addicts. School is tougher for people more easily board because it can be very boring. This would jell with the rats using drugs in a more boring cage. I asked heavy drug and alcohol use that I knew why they like about drugs and said it relieved the boredom.
