“4. Does black culture need to be reformed?”
Maybe not. The black homicide rate is falling, majority black neighborhoods are getting more polite, blacks have created the greatest music in the world, blacks dominate the most desired jobs in the USA (NCAA and Professional football and basketball.)
So they must be doing something right and must not be so bad as parents that we need to get their children away from them at and earlier age though preschool programs (which seems the real motivation of the likes of Hillary Clinton pushing for federally funded daycare).
White society is in a, hopefully temporary, hyper schooling, hyper safety mode that taking some of the joy out of childhood maybe it needs reform.
Maybe the education gap is due to values and who is to say that whose values are better?
That’s very good news. Things were really backsliding in the 80s and 90s. I agree with you on overprotectiveness and helicopter parenting. Kids need to be able to explore and play.
I disagree with the idea that it is impossible to tell which set of values is better than another. Perhaps I’m outmoded, but I think one culture really can be better than another.
