Warframe Odanata Build Guide

January 2, 2015

The Odanata is the first Archwing you can get. It has medium durability and abilities which mostly center around defense.

Powers
Energy Shell is the most useful power Odanata has. Shots fired though the barrier will gain 50% Heat damage and doubled critical damage. It also absorbs enemy fire so adds to your survivability as well.

Disarray drops flare beacons confusing incoming guided missiles. This power is about stopping Hellion Dargyns. Other than that, it’s pretty useless.

Seeking Fire lauches volleys of homing missiles. The damage done by the missiles is pretty low, so for the most part, this ability is a waste of energy.

Repel is pretty good, especially when you’re overwhelmed or reviving a teammate. It pushes back, stuns, damages, and disarms enemies around you. Increasing power range is critical. The damage done is moderate, so unless you are at low levels, I wouldn’t worry about using power strength mods.

Aura

Either Rejuvenation, Corrosive projection (for Grineer), or Shield Disruption (for Corpus). Although Steel Charge and Rifle Amp work for Archwing weapons, Corrosive Projection is better because it affects both attack types and does a similar increase in damage.

Polarities
V, D, -: I recommend Enhanced Durability, Hyperion Thrusters, and Auxiliary Power.

Other mods
Archwing seems less power-intensive than normal missions, so I tend to focus on durability and speed. Thus, I use Enhanced Durability, Hyperion Thrusters, Superior Defenses, and Energy Inversion. Argon Plating adds about 30% more effective health, so it’s personal preference.

I also use Energy Amplifier (range), Auxiliary Power (max energy), and Efficient Transferral (duration).

Note: The Warframe you use and mods you put on that Warframe do not affect Archwing, except for the Aura.
