2. Vaccines: Now my kids don’t die.

3. Debate on open borders. Personally, I favor vastly higher immigration (perhaps triple current rates for 5 years to see how it goes), without access to voting or welfare. Using an immigration tax rather than quota as Nathan Smith suggests makes sense to me.

4. Public opinion has become more libertarian. Unfortunately the author doesn’t know about libertarians, and so goes on about these new strange conservatives who are socially liberal. Ahh well. On a related note, a factoid I learned recently in Pinker’s Better Angels of Our Nature, the average male in 2000 was more feminist than the average woman in 1970.
