Someone is wrong on the internet

August 31, 2011

A lot of bloggers write a lot of posts telling people who is wrong on the internet. I’m awfully tempted today, but I decided awhile back that I would not waste my time with such things. Too many fools, too little time.

The errors fall mostly into a few main categories:
Broken Window Fallacy
Luddite fallacy
Failure to understand supply and demand
Failure to understand opportunity costs
Macro: Being really unclear and confused about what causes spending and why.
Say’s Law confusion
